BGood Worldwide is an inclusive nonprofit organization established in 2017 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by a small group of educators and coaches who believed in developing young people as future local and global leaders. We are dreamers, creators, and coaches who believe that every individual, everywhere, is valuable and has the potential to make a positive impact in their local community, and beyond.
Our mission is to provide access to and deliver the highest-quality leadership programs in order to empower the next generation of local and global leaders to positively impact the world.
B the Light is a leadership program model for students and young adult groups, ages 12-35. The model is designed around leadership, service and travel activities and is able to be customized for different types of classes, student groups/clubs, athletic teams, young friends groups or business teams. The program uniquely combines group leadership workshops and an online learning portal, engagement in local community service, and culminates with an 8-14 day group leadership mission. All program timelines are customized and generally take place over 6 to 12 months.
Our primary program objective is to significantly increase students and young adults capacity to effectively lead others, locally and beyond.

Our Foundation
The seeds of BGood Worldwide were planted during Ben’s eleven years working in the non-profit youth sports development and leadership field. The focus was on running the Goodstein Junior Leaders, a youth leadership team first established in 1998 at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Goodstein Junior Leaders engaged in year-round leadership development activities that included researching and implementing community service projects, learning various fund development skills to attract resources for those projects, and gaining first-hand exposure to new people, places and cultures through tennis and service. Over that time Ben’s work with young people and coaches took them to national and international destinations like Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, New York, Washington DC, Haiti, Israel, Benin, South Africa, and Brazil. Through these experiences working with young people and their families, developing a unique program model, and working with various national and international partners, the roots of BGood Worldwide were established.
