Global Health Leadership Program

Who: For college and university students ages 18-23
What: This is a 6-month leadership development program and mission for college and university students, ages 18-23, that aims to empower, engage and expose leaders to public and global health issues and initiatives that impact communities here in Philadelphia and in the Dominican Republic. The program will culminate with a 10-day Medical Mission to the Dominican Republic. This program and mission will spend time learning about the various issues affecting these communities and volunteering at organizations that specialize in public health and medicine initiatives. Activities and tours will include leadership discussions with communities leaders, volunteering at partnering health organizations, cultural activities, and excursions, swimming the Carribean Sea, and much more.
When: Program begins in January 2019. The mission travel schedule for July 9- 19, 2019.
Where: This mission will be traveling to the Dominican Republic and lodging in one community
