Project Information

Who: College and university students, ages 18-24
What: This is an 8-month leadership development program and mission for college and university students, ages 18-24, that aims to empower, engage and expose participants to various education issues and initiatives that impact communities here in Philadelphia and in rural Haiti. The program will culminate with an 8-day school build mission to Haiti. This program and mission will spend time learning about how education impacts communities and will volunteer at local organizations that specialize in educational initiatives for youth and families. Activities and tours will include leadership discussions with communities leaders, volunteering at partnering educational organizations, cultural activities, and excursions, swimming the Carribean Sea, and much more.
When: Program will open the application process in June and will begin in August.  The mission will take place in March of  2020.
Where: This mission will be traveling to Haiti and lodging in one community
